Marshall-Green serving as Aunt May’s potential boyfriend would be something that fans have not yet seen on screen. All of Peter’s foes in the past have mainly been Spidey villains first, who might also come into conflict with Peter. This would further complicate the balancing act of being a teen and a hero as Peter may have to decide whether or not to stop a villain or the next date for his aunt.
In the latest set photos and videos you can see things like Peter doing a quick costume change in an alley, Spidey hanging off a fire escape on the side of a building, and more. Nothing too revealing plot-wise from the images or videos other than small clues maybe, but one thing is for sure, Holland must be having the time of his life on this shoot. One nice little sneak peek was a look at a car with a Stark license plate, teasing us with Robert Downey Jr.’s appearance as Tony Stark/Iron Man.
Past Spider-Man films have always had the Osborn family featured, but there has not yet been any evidence of Norman (or Harry) making an appearance in Homecoming. However, Marshall-Green could fit the mold of a still-rising Norman Osborn and would be old enough to potentially have a high school-age son. His initial casting labeled him as a villain and he is the type of actor who is somewhat recognizable, but at the same time, he isn’t the usual big name that Marvel casts in potentially recurring roles.
